Search Clark County Recent Arrests

Clark County recent arrests scatter across several custody systems rather than one tidy list. No single roster covers everything. The county jail keeps its own booking records. So do the Las Vegas city facility and the Henderson and North Las Vegas lockups. Start with the jail most likely to have taken the person. Then confirm the case through the court. Photos are hit or miss. Not every official lookup shows a booking photo. Fresh arrests also take time to appear in a public search. Anyone asking who was arrested in Las Vegas needs the right tool for each piece.

Missing Clark County Arrest Entries

A blank result is rarely a final answer. CCDC leaves out minors and people held in protective custody. A brand-new arrest may still be in early processing. Identity checks, medical screening, fingerprinting, and data entry all take time. Released or transferred people drop out of a current-custody search. Another jail may hold the person. Sealed files stay hidden, and spelling slips or system outages add more gaps.

Work the possibilities in order. Check the spelling first. Search more than two last-name letters, or use a CCDC ID or court case number. A Las Vegas misdemeanor may sit at Las Vegas Detention Center instead. Henderson and North Las Vegas run separate searches when their agencies made the arrest. Then call the jail in charge. Use a court portal for any questions about the case itself. File a focused records request for older booking material.

The reverse problem counts too. A commercial site listing someone does not mean that person is in custody now. The entry may be old, copied, duplicated, or corrected later. Compare identifiers, check the official roster, and read the latest court action. Never judge present status from an image or a snippet.

Correcting Clark Arrest Information

Correction, sealing, and removal are three different things. A factual error gets fixed at the source. The agency or court that created the government file handles it. A sealed court order requires acceptable proof and its own distribution rules. Publishers can then be asked to update their copies. Search engines may keep cached text even after the source changes.

RecentlyBooked offers no-fee review for inaccurate, outdated, sealed, expunged, juvenile, duplicate, or wrong-person entries. Mugshots.com likewise charges nothing for updates or removal. Its maintenance policy recognizes sealing, identity theft, favorable disposition, and other documented grounds. These are private policies, not Nevada court remedies. Neither publisher is an official Clark County source. Busted Newspaper and Mugshots.zone list no Clark page. Nevada Arrests.org, for its part, offers no Clark-specific removal path. Skip paid services promising guaranteed deletion. Fix the official record and finish any sealing. Use a free publisher route, then chase stale search results.

Clark County Recent Arrest Channels

No official Clark County page lists every arrest in a fixed daily window. The main county source is the Clark County Detention Center inmate search. It shows people currently held at CCDC and refreshes periodically through the day. It promises no posting time per record and no public archive. Minors and protective-custody holds are excluded. A missing name can mean intake is underway, a release or transfer happened, another jail has the person, or the record is withheld.

The city systems matter just as much. A misdemeanor arrest inside Las Vegas city limits may land at Las Vegas Detention Center. CCDC notes where most LVMPD arrests go. They land at the city jail or CCDC depending on jurisdiction. Henderson and North Las Vegas each run their own detention searches. A Las Vegas address alone never identifies the jail. The Arrests Last 24 Hours page lays out the live-check sequence. Older history belongs in the Police Blotter.

Why Clark Arrest Posts Lag

Booking is a process, not a single timestamp. Per the Las Vegas detention description, staff confirm identity and process paperwork. They inventory property and money, run medical screening, and take fingerprints. The person then waits for arraignment, bail, bond, release on recognizance, or sentencing. So arrest time, booking date, and online posting time can all differ.

For a fresh event, search the likely facility. CCDC accepts at least two last-name letters. An inmate ID or a Justice Court case number also works. More letters narrow the results. With no clear match, call 702-671-3900. The county says phone information is the most current. No inmate details come by email. John or Jane Doe entries may need fingerprint identification before useful bail information shows up. The official CCDC page displays the limits attached to current-custody data.

Clark County Arrest Roster Fields

The CCDC current-custody search is a narrow operational tool, not a criminal history. Start with a name. An ID or case number cuts down confusion. Match the arrest date, age, and case reference before trusting any result. The result displays no public photo field.

FieldWhat it shows
ID and nameFacility identifier and displayed identity
Case and related caseReferences for court follow-up
Charge and statusCharge and current displayed state
Arrest dateRecord date, not publication time
DetainerHold indicator without a safe unstated inference
Cash or surety bailTerms shown, not proof of payment
HousingCurrent assignment, subject to change
Scheduled actionPlanned event, not disposition

Start with your strongest identifier. Match every field, note the retrieval time, and check the named court. No match? Try that agency's municipal jail. Nevada SAVE can send notifications about one person in custody, but it is not a CCDC roster, and the sheriff's office lists no dedicated booking app. The CCDC in-custody result page displays its plain, text-forward fields.

Where Clark Arrest Records Appear

Official sources come first. Each answers one defined question. News outlets and commercial arrest indexes can flag an event or an old date, yet they lag, duplicate entries, preserve stale text, or leave out the court outcome.

Newspapers sit closest among unofficial sources. The Review-Journal and Las Vegas Sun publish selected crime reports, not arrest feeds. Commercial sites such as RecentlyBooked, Mugshots.com, and Nevada Arrests.org are secondary. So verify every entry against the agency and court. Busted Newspaper and Mugshots.zone list no Nevada Clark page.

Clark County Arrests by City

Jurisdiction decides where a new arrest entry lands. LVMPD, city public-safety officers, and marshals each create different Las Vegas routes, while Henderson and North Las Vegas keep their own police and detention paths.

Clark Justice Court also covers townships. Its reach includes Boulder, Laughlin, Mesquite, Moapa Valley, and Searchlight, though that coverage does not mean every local arrest enters CCDC.

Clark County Booking Record Details

A booking record starts when a facility accepts an arrest and its paperwork. It tracks custody administration. It is not the court outcome. The charge can later be amended, reduced, dismissed, resolved by plea, or tried, bail may go unposted, and a scheduled action can change.

Record itemMeaning and limit
Identity and IDDisplayed person and facility reference
Booking or arrest dateOperational date, distinct from posting
ChargeIntake charge, not conviction
Case numberKey to the correct court file
Bail or bondTerms shown at that moment
DetainerPossible hold, limited to displayed text
HousingAssignment that can change
PhotoMay exist though not publicly displayed

Charge status can shift after booking. What the jail file first listed may be amended, reduced, or dismissed as the case moves forward.

Booking means intake at the jail. Arraignment is an early formal court appearance, bond is a condition that may allow release, and disposition is the court outcome. Record sealing restricts access by court order.

Clark County Mugshots After Arrest

Photo availability varies across Clark County jails. The CCDC result page shows case, charge, bail, detainer, housing, and schedule fields. No photo appears there. North Las Vegas lists no photo field either, and Henderson describes charges, booking date, release date, and bond without promising an image. That absence does not mean intake staff created nothing.

Ask the right custodian. Include the person, arrest date, agency, case or inmate number, and the exact item you want. A released person may drop off a live roster while the booking file remains, and juvenile, protective-custody, sealed, or confidential material can be withheld or redacted. The NDOC offender search may show a state-custody photo. It is not a source for new local arrests.

Request Clark County Arrest Records

The county records page says the general county office does not hold police, detention, or court records. Aim your request at the creator or holder.

  1. Identify the agency, jail, court, and date range.
  2. Name the booking sheet, photo, register, release order, report, or court file.
  3. Add a case, inmate, event, or report number.
  4. Submit to CCDC, LVMPD, city police, or the correct court.
  5. Ask about redaction, cost, timing, denial, or transfer.

CCDC posts no separate photo request form, fixed fee, or promised photo turnaround. Call 702-671-3900 for custody. LVMPD has its own route. It states a ten-business-day framework with identity rules for some delivery methods; jail entries, police reports, and court files are distinct records, and the county's records-request page prevents misdirected detention requests.

Nevada Arrest Records and Sealing

NRS Chapter 239 governs public access and lawful redaction in Nevada. NRS Chapter 179A covers criminal-history information. NRS Chapter 179 holds the sealing statute. Nevada law sets no specific rule for ordinary booking-photo publication. Agency policy, confidentiality, and court orders still control each file.

The remedy is sealing. Clark County DA instructions require a current Nevada Repository report, with SCOPE optional, and active cases or warrants can block the process while municipal matters may go to municipal court. A sealing order, a publisher correction, and a stale search-result request are separate steps.

Some secondary sites offer free review of sealed, mistaken, juvenile, duplicate, or favorably resolved entries. Confirm the official record first. The sealing statute itself is the official source.

How Long Clark Records Remain

The cited 2016 Nevada schedule allows five calendar years from a jail-register date. Release orders get three years from release. An inmate roster runs 90 days after update. None of that promises a web result or photo stays online, and the roster period never erases the underlying booking file.

The current approved schedule controls if it changes. CCDC publishes no photo-retention period. For older files, ask the custodian whether the series was retained, sealed, destroyed, or transferred. Contact Nevada State Library, Archives and Public Records only if an agency confirms an archival transfer, since recent CCDC pages are not presumed archived there.

Clark County Warrants and Arrests

Clark County posts no single countywide warrant search. Its warrant-status page routes questions to the court holding the matter, including Las Vegas and North Las Vegas Municipal Courts and the county's Justice Courts. Bring valid identification at court counters. Consulting Nevada counsel is wise where appropriate.

LVMPD's quarterly top-ten wanted list is different. It warns against approaching or apprehending anyone and offers agency and anonymous Crime Stoppers tip routes. Wanted means sought, not in custody. An old wanted image is never a current booking photo.

Safety: Confirm any Clark County warrant with the issuing court or with counsel, and pass tips straight to law enforcement.

Clark Arrest Cases After Booking

Custody questions go to the jail. Case questions go elsewhere. The Clark Justice Court portal searches by name, case, or ticket across several townships. Las Vegas Justice Court runs its own portal, and sealed, protected, or exempt matters stay out of both.

Henderson Justice Court takes qualifying felony and gross-misdemeanor cases through preliminary hearing, including bail and probable cause. A felony may move on to District Court. A municipal misdemeanor follows a different route. Use the court named in the booking record and read its actual disposition.

Custody Beyond Clark County

Custody sometimes moves out of Clark County. The CCDC handbook draws a line at one year. Sentences of a year or less tend to stay local. Anything longer can shift to NDOC once local matters wrap up. Ask the court and the holding agency to confirm the actual sentence and any transfer.

NDOC lets you search state custody by ID number or by demographics. It also offers downloads covering aliases, bookings, parole, and releases. The system warns that its data may be incomplete. Nevada SAVE tracks custody and supervision, sends alerts, and shows no booking photos. For background on the 2025 switch from VINE to SAVE, the VINELink Custody Check spells it out.

Federal custody works differently. The BOP locator reaches back to 1982 and lists federal inmates. Release dates can change, though, and mugshots are absent. ICE's tool covers immigration custody only and demands exact identity inputs. The U.S. Marshals publish no county-style roster. None of these stand in for CCDC.

A missing CCDC result calls for a custody check, not a guess. Did the person stay in a municipal jail? Move to state prison, enter federal custody, or walk free? Keep the full name, date of birth, arrest date, booking identifier, and court case number together while moving between systems. Every locator runs on different identifiers and answers a different question. After a transfer or release, court dockets remain the best way to follow charges. The responsible records office is still the route for an older booking document.
